well it took me all of ten whole mins to find the worst picture of me i could find to add to the facebook profile.
im not what you call photogenic so its generaly easyer to post the worst possible picture you can find, that way you can agree with people when they say that it looks like you have just suffered a mild stroke.
Adoption is the only trauma in the world where its victims are expected by the whole of society to be grateful.

Your contribution is welcomed from all three of us. As far as the picture goes, I am sure there are far worse contributions from others, and those with no picture at all!!

Alas, some people have infuriating relations to consider, which means extreme caution when putting one's portrait in certain places. I am sorry to disappoint of course.

I am just writing on this thread again, basically to draw more attention to the networking sites set up by myself, Edd and Matt. (thanks Jonesy too)

Please, if youve already joined, feel free to go back and add to the site youve joined in some way- post something, say something- just to keep them alive and ticking over!

The membership of each is increasing slowly, but there is a danger that these things can become yesterday's news if not supported!

Many thanks to all.

Tracie

Welcome to the forum ;)

If you look in the Birth Relatives folder, you'll find those who you can talk to.
Actually, most of us are pretty friendly!!! But if you specifically want birth relatives, try that folder, and have a read of some of the posts. You may find something you can relate to.

Tracie

That's cool, talk away!
But as you are a birth mother, your posts will be more noticed in the Birth Relatives folder...... You can start your own thread, say a little about yourself etc.....you will get more response from people in a similar situation :)

I've just sent you a PM (private message). Explained a little more.
Actually, if this works, it'll link you to the right folder!

I thought they were Personal Messages......or so Donna told me?!?

In all seriousness, thanks for picking this thread to ask the question on, tracie. Perhaps by clicking on a link beneath this post, you might like to join facebook, bebo or myspace too- giving you opportunity to speak to many others in a similar position to your own.
