I notice that most of the BMD links posted above are England and Wales. My brothers adoption took place in Scotland. Anyone know of any links in order to search scottish BMD registers?
if travelling at the speed of light was at all possible, it certainly would not be desirable, as ones hat would keep blowing off

Hi these sites are interesting.
www.geograph.org.uk Put in the area and, all being well, a load of pictures come up of that area, works along side ordance survey.
www.zoopla.co.uk Property watch site which tells you when a property was sold, though it doesnt go back very far. It also works with maps and ariel views.
For people researching Scotland there's Scotlands people, cant remember the full address but if you put this in a search engine it comes up.
