Did anyone watch casualty the other day?

I do not watch it often but saw the part where the doctor/nurse had found his birthmum, went to see her and then left......

I tend to avoid hospital 'drama' since I was ill Cleo, but did keep seeing that bit as it was used as the trailer for the programme ........ I have never been very convinced of the necessity or the value of these very pointed drama scenarios......... their excuse usually is that it 'helps' people to talk about their own experiences...... does it.......I think it must make things more painful .....

hello LA,

No i do not normally watch anything like this either, but was interested to see how things worked out......felt rather churned up inside to be honest after she knew it was her son, and then he just walked out.......like you said, not sure it 'helps' anyone, more like opening the wounds that are trying to heal after such an experience like this
